Columbus, Ohio & Cleveland, Ohio, November 16, 2020— Moo Moo Express Car Wash and CLEan Express Auto Wash today announced the donation of $13,715 to St. Jude Children’s® Research Hospital. Monetary donations were collected at all 19 Central Ohio Moo and Greater Cleveland CLEan Express locations November 13 – 15, 2020 and will help St. Jude further their mission of saving the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Throughout the St. Jude donation campaign, Moo Moo Express and CLEan Express offered a free “Crème de la Crème VIP” and “CLEan-est” car wash ($18 value) to customers in exchange for a $5 monetary donation. One hundred percent of proceeds benefitted St. Jude. At the campaign’s conclusion, the two companies gave away more than 2,700 free car washes, totaling more than $49,300 at full retail value.
“Most of St. Jude’s funding comes from private donations, and due to the current climate and dwindling donations across the board for non-profits, it was more important than ever for us to raise as much money as possible to help these children win the fight against cancer,” said John Roush, Chief Executive Officer of Express Wash Concepts and Founding Partner of Moo Moo Express Car Wash. “We surpassed our donation total from 2019’s campaign, and are so grateful for our Team Members and customers for embracing this cause that matters so much to us, and the children and families that St. Jude serves.”
